Bondex Logistics Co., Ltd. has completed its first EcoVadis sustainability assessment and received a Bronze Medal, placing it among the top 35% of companies assessed globally over the past 12 months.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s widely used business sustainability ratings platforms, assessing companies across countries and industries in four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Its ratings have become an important reference for many companies in evaluating the sustainability performance of their suppliers and business partners.
In recent years, Bondex has progressively integrated internationally recognized sustainability principles into its business operations. The company has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), adopted the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), and endorsed the CEO Water Mandate, advancing initiatives related to human and labor rights, environmental protection, anti-corruption, gender equality, and responsible water management.
Sustainability is also being integrated into the company’s logistics operations. Bondex has completed its first carbon inventory across offices, warehouses, and ocean, air, rail, and road transportation, and has set phased emissions reduction targets. It is also advancing order-level carbon accounting to provide customers with greater visibility into logistics-related emissions.
Across transportation and warehousing, the company is improving efficiency through route optimization, cargo consolidation, shared capacity, and sea-rail intermodal transport, while expanding the use of solar power, energy-efficient lighting, automated picking, autonomous handling equipment, and reusable packaging. The BondexOne digital platform further connects transportation, warehousing, and customs operations, improving visibility and coordination across the logistics process.
Employees are fundamental to Bondex’ s long-term growth. Through programs such as the Eagle Program, Bondex Learning, and management trainee development, the company supports employees at different career stages, with dedicated career paths for both managerial and professional talent. It also continues to foster a fair and inclusive workplace.
As its global service network expands, business integrity and information security remain key priorities. Bondex has established clear requirements on anti-bribery, anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, and conflicts of interest, supported by reporting channels for both internal and external stakeholders. Regular training on information security and privacy further helps protect business data and ensure reliable logistics operations.
